GMail – Compose Email in Hindi Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu

Yes, the much awaited feature is now available in Gmail. This time, Google has done a fantastic job by integrating Indic Transliteration with Gmail.

Here is a screenshot of the new feature. You can just click on the button to enable composing in local language and start typing. You can switch back to English by clicking the button again.

    But I guess they could have added it much before…
    Anyway its better late than never….

    hi…..there is no icon in my compose page….. there starts “B” for bold… where is that language selection icon…..pls give a solution

      If that is not shown, then you can goto Settings page and under General Tab, you will find Enable Transliteration cehckbox. Enable it and select default language for transliteration.
