As usual, I wanted to try something new. This time, I chose to install a new Linux distro gOS. I am running Windows Vista, so emptied a drive, shrank the size to accommodate swap and main partition. Everything went fine. But the problem was that I could not play any music and my Bluetooth adapter was not working. So I had to switch back.
There started all the problem. The Linux installation replaced all the contents of boot sector and GRUB was handling it. Since I deleted everything ( the Linux partition), I could not restore Vista boot loader. I played some tricks around and got it working. Now the resolution is not to do some experiments, until I am comfortable with all the drivers. Now I can resume my daily blogging habit.
